Information prior to the contractual process
The website www.kala.es (hereinafter, the “Website”) is owned by FABRICAS MAIDER S.L.U, with tax ID number B16752065 and registered office at Calle Marcelino Giner, 13 Drcha, Valencia, Spain (hereinafter, “KALA”).
These General Terms and Conditions regulate the distance selling relationship between KALA and the user/customer in accordance with current legislation: Law 7/1998 (General Terms and Conditions), TRLGDCU mod. Law 3/2014, LOPDGDD, GDPR (EU) 2016/679, Law 7/1996 (Retail Trade Regulation) and LSSI-CE.
KALA may modify these conditions without prior notice. The new conditions will be enforceable from the moment of their publication. There may be specific conditions which, where applicable, will prevail over these.
Purpose of the Site: marketing of baby clothing and accessories.
Duration of the contract: linked to the delivery of the product, without prejudice to the right of withdrawal.
The user declares that they are of legal age, have the legal capacity to contract and accept these conditions.

User registration
The customer may create an account (username/password), which must be kept confidential. From the customer area, you can update your details, view orders, and download related documentation.
Data protection
Personal data is processed by FABRICAS MAIDER S.L.U for the purpose of managing the contractual relationship, processing orders, providing after-sales service, and sending necessary communications:
• Legal basis: performance of the contract and, where applicable, consent.
• Retention: during the contractual relationship and the legal deadlines.
• Rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability, and withdrawal of consent at info@kala.es, indicating this in the subject line.
• Supervisory authority: AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency).

Purchase process
Select products, complete shipping details, and choose a payment method. Upon completion of your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please write to pedidos@kala.es indicating your order number. Language of the contract: Spanish (informative translations may be available on the website).
Offers and validity
Active offers will expressly indicate price and duration/units. In the event of an obvious error in price or description, KALA will notify you in order to correct it or cancel the order in accordance with the legislation on errors in the formation of the contract.
Product characteristics
Each product listing includes a description, images, and essential characteristics. Note on color: there may be slight variations in tone due to user screen calibration.
Quality control and visual traceability: Before shipment, KALA conducts an internal review and photographic documentation of the item and its packaging (seal, condition, and contents) to certify its conformity at origin.
Legal guarantee of conformity
The products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity. In the event of non-conformity, KALA will prioritize replacement with an identical or equivalent product; if this is not possible, repair or refund in accordance with regulations.
To activate the guarantee, contact pedidos@kala.es with your order number, description of the defect, and images.
Recommended evidence (to speed up the process):
• Clear photos of the product (overview + detail of the defect).
• Photos of the outer and inner packaging and the shipping label.
• Short video if the defect is functional.
Providing images does not limit your rights, but it does facilitate an easier resolution.
Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable VAT.
If other taxes apply (IGIC/IPSI), they will be indicated during the purchase process.
Shipping: scope, delivery times, and incidents
Each order is carefully prepared in our workshop.
Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.
Preparation: 24–48 business hours.
Shipping area: mainland Spain, Balearic Islands, and European Union.
Approximate delivery times:
• Mainland Spain: 2–5 days.
• Balearic Islands: 3–6 days.
• European Union: 3–10 days.
Canary Islands (customs notice): subject to local procedures (DUA/IGIC). Where applicable, these charges are payable by the customer. Delivery times may be extended due to customs procedures.
Transport incidents (damaged/opened package):
Write to us within 24–48 hours of delivery to pedidos@kala.es with:
1. Photos of the exterior (label visible)
2. Photos of the interior and protective packaging
3. Photos/video of the affected product
4. Order number and brief description.
If you are unable to provide images within this time frame, KALA will still handle the incident in accordance with regulations and may request additional verification (e.g., inspection by the carrier).
Payment methods
• Card (VISA/Mastercard) via secure gateway (SSL encryption). KALA does not access card details.
• Apple Pay or Google Pay (with associated account or card).
Currency exchange fees or customer bank charges, where applicable, are not attributable to KALA.
In the event of a fraudulent/improper charge, you may request that the charge be reversed in accordance with regulations. Unfounded requests may result in liability for damages.
Product availability
If an item is out of stock after purchase, KALA will inform the customer in order to:
(a) replace it with a product of equal or superior quality at the same price; or
(b) issue a full refund within a maximum of 30 days.
Right of withdrawal (14 days) and returns
Withdrawal: 14 calendar days from receipt, without the need to provide a reason. Request this at pedidos@kala.es (indicate order number).
Return the product new, unused, with original packaging and labeling.
Return costs for withdrawal: paid by the customer (except in the case of an error by KALA or a defective product).
Refund: same payment method, within a maximum of 14 days from receipt and verification of the item.
Defective product or shipping error (KALA):
• KALA assumes the costs of collection/return.
• As a matter of service policy, we prioritize replacement of the same product. If this is not possible, we will issue a refund.
• To speed up the process, please send images (product, affected area, packaging, and label).
• Where appropriate, KALA can arrange collection for inspection.
Anti-fraud clause provided: KALA maintains an internal photographic record of quality control upon leaving the workshop. In the event of obvious discrepancies between this record and the condition declared upon receipt, an inspection by the carrier or an expert assessment may be requested. This measure does not limit consumer rights; it seeks to protect both parties and to verify facts.
Images and content provided by the customer
Photographs and videos sent by the customer to manage incidents will be used exclusively for that purpose (or to fulfill obligations to the insurance company/carrier/authority). They will not be published or transferred to third parties, except where legally required. They will be kept for the time necessary for resolution and regulatory compliance.
Intellectual and industrial property
The content, designs, images, texts, trademarks, and logos on the Website are the property of KALA or third-party licensors. Their reproduction, distribution, or transformation without express authorization is prohibited.
Limitation of Liability
Without prejudice to consumer rights, KALA shall not be liable for:
a) misuse of the Website;
b) decisions made without proper verification of information;
c) interruptions due to technical causes or force majeure;
d) color differences attributable to user devices.
Commercial communications and SMS Marketing
By subscribing (email or SMS), you consent to receiving transactional notifications (confirmations, tracking, cart recoveries) and offers. Consent is not a condition of purchase and you can revoke it at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link or by writing to us at info@kala.es
The SMS service may incur costs from the user's operator; KALA does not charge for sending messages. The associated data (phone/email) is not transferred to third parties except to technology providers necessary for the provision of the service, under contract. The Website may use cookies to remember the cart and determine the appropriate time for reminders (see Cookie Policy).
Jurisdiction and applicable law
Spanish law applies. In the event of disputes, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the consumer's place of residence in Spanish territory. ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
